About Us

Watercolour Bakery & Cafe began its journey in 2010 as a humble juice bar in Pusat Bandar Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. The name “Watercolour”was inspired by the vibrant colours of fresh fruit juices, a concept that remains close to our heart and continues to be a popular item on our menu.

In 2012, we expanded into the bakery world with our first bakery cafe in Mont Kiara. Serving the local community, we quickly became a beloved neighbourhood spot, offering a wide selection of freshly baked sourdough, cakes, and pastries. Our passion for quality food and creating a welcoming space has only grown since then.

Today, we continue our mission to bring joy through simple, delicious offerings at our new home in The Ooak Suites Kiara 163.

Our Team, Our Products

Our journey into baking has been one of passion, perseverance, and learning by doing. We’re a small team, and while we didn’t start with formal training, we dove headfirst into the world of sourdough and pastries. Through trial and error, hands-on experience, and a shared love for creating, we’ve mastered the art of crafting delicious, feshly baked goods.

At Watercolour, we’re passionate about creating unique and flavourful baked goods. Our sourdough selection includes a variety of artisan loaves such as Butterfly Pea Multigrain Sourdough, Ancient Wholegrain Rye Sourdough, Wholemeal Sourdough, Muesli Sourdough, Sprouted Quinoa Sourdough, and Sprouted Black Sesame & Spelt Sourdough. We love experimenting with different ingredients to craft distinctive flavours and textures.

Beyond bread, we incorporate sourdough into our scones, cookies and cakes, adding a delightful twist to these classics. We also make our own pasta using Spelt Ancient Flour, and have developed our very own rye noodles, perfect for ramen lovers.

Every item we baked or create is thoughfully made with quality ingredients and a deep love for the craft.
